Matt and Jessica married on January 12th. Ontario was too cold for them so they invited family and friends to Jamaica to join them in celebrating their special day. Every one here at Claussen's joins in wishing them that their dreams come true and that they enjoy their life together as a couple.

The two new Streumaster SW 4 lime and cement spreaders compliment the Wirtgen road stabilizer. These spreaders with their electronic rate control allow us to offer the full line of equipment for lime and cement soil stabilization. This process will reduce the building costs by about 30% to 50% compared to the standard method of soil exchange and replacement with gravel.

In summary we can say that the Horsch Tiger MT fullfilled and exceeded our expectations. It can handle high amounts of corn residue, sizes and blends it well and leaves a very level surface, so that one tillage pass in spring before planting or no extra tillage pass for the Rapd drill should be all that's needed to prepare the seedbed.
If that holds true than we have a very efficient and cost effective tillage tool available.
In fact, the Tiger worked so well, that we had to run it 24/7 for a while to keep up with the customer demand. We wil do some more trials and testing in Spring applications.

We added a Merlo 55.9 teleloader to replace the JCB 541-70. The Merlo has 22% more lift capacity, more HP and is an overall heavier machine. The loader is equipped with an extra high volume bucket which should increase manure loading capacity by 10% to 15% and increases the manure spreading productivity in the same amount. High flow hydraulics, electronic weigh scale, cab suspension and large tires are among other features.

A new Fendt 820, the last model of the old generation 800's, is replacing the JD 7810 after nine years and 9700 hrs of reliable service – this 7810 is truly one of the best tractors John Deere has ever built and there is still lots of life left.
The Fendt 820 has a Fendt 5X90 loader, 50 k IVT transmision, airbrakes and is equipped with the newest generation of Michelin Xeobib tires. Let's see what we can say about this tractor after 9000 hrs!

We have been looking long for the ideal fall tillage tool and tried a lot of different styles and brands. We were looking for a tool that can:
The Horsch Tiger MT seems to be the tool that is matching all those requirements and it is a well accepted equipment that led the way to conservation tillage system in Europe.

We are fairly excited about this new tillage tool and the job it will do this fall and how those fields look next spring. We will be out and doing demos, let us know if you like to see the Tiger work!

So once again I have updated the site. This is what I've wanted it to look like from the start but I was having some technical difficulties but now it seems like I've gotten everything to work and show up the way I wanted.

Hello and welcome to the newly updated Claussen Farms Custom Farming Website. This has been in the works for about a month now and it is finally finished. Well almost, there may still be some information missing or incorrect and we are working on getting all of that straightened out. There may also be some bugs or errors but we are working on that. We will be continuously updating this new site as it will be easier to update than the previous site. We will also be getting the photo galeries up and running and we will be working on getting pictures to go along with all of the Services and Equipment.
