New Fendt 820 with Loader

A new Fendt 820, the last model of the old generation 800's, is replacing the JD 7810 after nine years and 9700 hrs of reliable service – this 7810 is truly one of the best tractors John Deere has ever built and there is still lots of life left.

The Fendt 820 has a Fendt 5X90 loader, 50 k IVT transmision, airbrakes and is equipped with the newest generation of Michelin Xeobib tires. Let's see what we can say about this tractor after 9000 hrs!

New Horsch Tiger MT for 2011 Fall Tillage

We have been looking long for the ideal fall tillage tool and tried a lot of different styles and brands. We were looking for a tool that can:

• replace the plow
• builds a bridge between plowing and notill
• incorporates residue with soil to initiate decompostion
• can handle high amounts of residue
• leaves enough residue on the surface to control water erosion during winter
• prepares a level surface for 1 tillage pass in Spring to be planter ready
• capable of working in all different soil moisture environments
• capable of working from 2" to 13" deep
• capable to be used for light spring tilage
• do all this without sacrificing yield

The Horsch Tiger MT seems to be the tool that is matching all those requirements and it is a well accepted equipment that led the way to conservation tillage system in Europe.

The Tiger MT has 4 work zones:

• 2 rows of discs to size residue and do a shallow tillage pass
• 2 rows of HD tines to do more residue incorporation and work deeper
• 1 row of disc levelers to level the surface
• 1 rubber tire packer and a ductile packer row to finish the pass

We are fairly excited about this new tillage tool and the job it will do this fall and how those fields look next spring. We will be out and doing demos, let us know if you like to see the Tiger work!

Website Overhaul

So once again I have updated the site. This is what I've wanted it to look like from the start but I was having some technical difficulties but now it seems like I've gotten everything to work and show up the way I wanted.

We will also be working on updating all of the information and adding more in order to keep you up to date.

Welcome to the Updated Site!

Magnus Claussen - March 8^th, 2011

Hello and welcome to the newly updated Claussen Farms Custom Farming Website. This has been in the works for about a month now and it is finally finished. Well almost, there may still be some information missing or incorrect and we are working on getting all of that straightened out. There may also be some bugs or errors but we are working on that. We will be continuously updating this new site as it will be easier to update than the previous site. We will also be getting the photo galeries up and running and we will be working on getting pictures to go along with all of the Services and Equipment.
