Baling
A Claas Quadrant 2200 Finecut baler is used for baling straw, hay and haylage. The baler is equipped with 49 knifes in a 4 ft (120 cm) wide body which equals a 1" cutting length – no other commercial baler offers this feature. Fine cut straw is used in poultry, sheep and dairy barns for bedding or also in TMR ratios because it almost matches the silage length of cut. The number of knifes also results in about 10% more weight in a bale.
The bale format of 4 ft wide and 2.3 ft heights and length up to 10 ft allows to stalk 4 units over top of each other without exceeding height limits and still making a stable stack.
Other features include:
- choice of 3 to 49 knives to be used
- propionic acid application
- double swath rollers for even swath feeding
- integrated moisture sensor on the balers
- high volume tires on baler and tractor
- bale gathering or removal service
- raking or swath merging or turning service
Combining
We are currently operating 2 different combines. A JD 9560 STS class 5 and a Claas Lexion 580R clas 8 combine. The JD is operating with a 30 ft flexhead and an 8 row cornhead and the Claas pushes a 40 ft flexhead and a 16 row cornhead. Both machines share the following features:
- Ag Leader GPS yield monitoring and mapping
- dual floatation tires
- AWS air reel wind systems in all bean crops
- Argis or Claas precision header knife system
- Specialized fine cut straw choppers with guaranteed even spread pattern over the entire cutting width of the headers
- Automatic header height control in all crops
- Using crop lifters in all cereal crops
- Gentle crop handling by using round bar concaves in corn, beans, and partially in wheat and canola
- Buggy service with each combine
- We can do the grain hauling
Both combines are set up and equipped for gentle crop handling and precise and accurate residue handling because it is our belief that the success of the following crop starts with the combining job of the previous crop!
Crop Management
There are basically 3 categories of services we can provide to you:
1. Individual crop planning and monitoring related services like GPS mapping, setting up cropping plans, field scouting, soil, tissue and manure sampling or one on one consulting and strategy development
2. Field monitoring is the second possible choice. This service incorporates a package of annual services to establish and monitor a crop. It includes setting up a Cropping plan, 3 field scouts during the season, GPS perimeter mapping, all required soil, manure and tissue analysis and year end field history documenting of all performed work steps with their cost and yield history so that the bottom line shows the net income per acre or field and your unit production costs.
3. Contract Farming is the highest category and includes us doing all work and field monitoring services tailored to your needs and requirements with the objective to generate the highest possible income per acre. In this system we will take responsibilities of our actions and decisions and are paid for our services based on crop performance.
We are prepared to meet all your individual crop management needs with the objective to maximize the net return in compliance with agronomic and environmental sound farming practices.
Direct Cut Cereal
Direct cut cereal silage is very popular in Europe. By direct cutting there is less weather risk, less chance of dirt contamination, and less field traffic. Direct cut is also an option in grass based feeds for 2nd or 3rd cut.
Fertilizing
We are offering 4 different types of fertilizer application:
1. Broadcasting 28% UAN solution with the sprayer using streamer nozzles either preplant, preemerge or in crop to corn , canola, grain or other growing crops. In tall corn we are using boom draghoses to apply the fertilizer in between the corn rows.
2. In crop foliar feeding nutrient solutions with the sprayer using different styles of flatfan nozzles.
3. Broadcasting all types of dry fertilizer with our air boom spreader either preplant, preemerge or in crop using tramline systems
4. Sidedressing urea to 3 to 12 leaf corn using an aircart with a 16 row 30" coulter tool bar, the most efficient way to feed the corn crop.
The applicators are equipped with auto rate control, autosteer, autoswath and application mapping and we can supply the different fertilizer sources as well.
Forage Harvesting
Our equipment includes three harvesters, a Claas Jaguar 830 GreenEye, a Claas Jaguar 930 and a Claas Jaguar 850 Speed Star. Each harvester is equipped with a 360 or 410 hp engines, flotation tires, kernel processor, auto pilot, auto knife sharpening, auto shear bar adjustment and a Pioneer innoculant applicator. Two of the machines are equipped with four-wheel drive and all of the harvesters have 40 km/h road speed.
We are using different heads for different applications: 3.80 m and 4.30 m pickup heads for Alfalfa and Grass Silage, 4.50 m rowindependent cornheads for Corn Silage, a 6m disc head for Direct Cut Cereal Silage and an 8 row cornhead for Corn Cob Meal.
We are also offering the combining, grinding, and trucking of High Moisture Corn.
For Corn Cob Meal and High Moisture Corn the harvesters are equipped with micro rasp bars, a rasp bar floor, a re-cutter screen, and a special kernel processor set up to achieve the material fines.
Hauling Silage and Grain
Silage hauling is done with tandem axle dumptrailers from 30 m3up to 40 m3 or 15 mt to 25 mt payload. Additional options on those dumptrailers are 50km/h tandem axles, hydraulic or air brakes, steering axle and flotation tires. We also have 30 m3 silage dumptrailers for rent.
Hauling grain is serviced with farm style hopper wagons, silage dumptrailers and truck style trains or bottom unloading trailers on dolly axles, all equipped with air brakes.
High Moisture Corn
Our Claas forage harvesters are used as stationary grinder in the field to grind High Moisture Corn. In combination with the Lexion 580R combine this system ensures a high capacity of about 10 ac/h of corn combined, ground, and hauled into the bunker silo. Fields are cleaned up fast and easily and there is no mess in the farm yard. We are offering this process as a complete service from field to bunk incl. packing.
Manure and Solids Spreading
The German made Tebbe Universal Spreaders are designed for applying all kinds of solid materials such as slurries, bedding sand, compost, solid manure, lime, lagoon settlements, ash, salt, fertilizer and other materials. The material is ground down and spread up to 60 ft wide. There is no spreader that spreads finer and more evenly, which allows to take the most benefits out of those spreading materials.
We supply the loading either with a teleloader or with an excavator. A GPS guidance system, an electronic weigh kit, and electronic rate control guarantee precise and environmentally friendly application.
The application business is fully insured and we are licensed as Prescribed Material Applicators.
All operators are certified Presrcibed Material Application Technicians. All application jobs are coming with full paper recording to meet MOE specs and requirements.
Mowing Alfalfa and Grass
Do you need efficient equipment to produce high quality feed for your livestock? Our Taarup 4062C 20 ft pull type mower and the Claas 8550 28 ft butterfly unit will help you cut more acres in less time and get clean, high-quality silage and hay.
Both machines are equipped with a tine conditioner, float tires, and a merger belts. It is possible to have dual windrows every 20, 30 or 40 ft. or single windrows every 10 ft. As a result, no extra windrow merging is required. This saves time, reduces losses, and keeps the silage clean and most important - the mower capacity matches harvester capacity for the most consistent feed quality going into the bunkersilo.
The windrow width can be adjusted to match drying conditions and requirements.
Packing Silage
Packing the bunker silo is the most important and also the weakest link in the whole harvesting chain. We are using tractors with front-end loaders to achieve the required pushing capacity, maneuverability, operating weight and flexibility to match the different bunker silo sizes. We have been conducting bunker silo density testing for the last few years and we are using the test results to continually improve our packing technique and to train our operators and supply information to the farm operations to improve bunk management.
We are currently using a JD 8330, a JD 8320R and a Fendt 920 with loaders and rear blades for packing. All tractors are equipped with duals, loader with a bucket, and a heavy 3pt bulldozer blade as a counter weight. The tractor operating weights are between 19 and 23 mt.
A Fendt 920and JD 7810 with single tires, loader bucket and rear blade is used for packing smaller and high energy corn bunkers.

Our services include planting all crops. Alfalfa, cereals and soys are planted with the following drills:
Flexicoil 2340 with 8100 toolbar::
It is a notill drillor conventional drill with a 230 bu aircart, variable rate metering, fertilizer banding, Michelin dual tires, Salford double disc openers, Vaderstad coil tine harrow and optical seed sensors. Fine seeds like alfalfa can be planted in row or broadcast ahead of the toolbar.
Vaderstad Rapid 400 C:
This Drill is new for 2011. Vaderstad is the conventional seeding Pioneer in Europe with over 15000 drills sold. The drill is just 13.5 ft wide and requires a 10 mph operating speed to do the propper job, so capacity wise it is comparable to a traditional 20 ft drill. There are 6 work zones incorporated: tillage with 2 rows of discs, a cross bar for levelling the seedbed, one row fertilizer discs for banding fertilizer between seed rows, two seed rows for planting, solid row of tire packer to close the seed trench and allow for seed to soil contact and a row of coil tine harrows to finish the process. Other features of the drill nclude a dual tank for seed and fertilizer, a third tank for fine seed, 5" row spacing and the option to broadcast alfalfa and grass ahead of the tire packer or in row. This drill eliminates one tillage pass.
Corn, edible beans and specialty soys are planted with planters. We are currently operating 4 different planters. There are 2 John Deere 1770 16 row 30" planters with vaccum metering, Greenstar variable rate control and aircart fertilizer delivery, row cleaners, seed firmers, spading closing wheels and drag chains (nutill setup). The third planter is a 12 row 30" Flexicoil 1740 also setup in a nutill and dry fertilizer configuration and variable rate seed metering. The fourth planter is a John Deere 1790 CCS. It is equipped with central tank seed delivery, liquid fertilizer banding and is capable of planting on 15 or 30" rows.
All planters are notill ready. Banding NPK fertilizer at planting beside or into the seed row is possible as well as the banding of dry insecticide into row.
A written planting report for each field is supplied.
